The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally transformed the banking sector, particularly in document management systems. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has developed BRIMEN (BRI Document Management System) as a digital innovation to address challenges in managing credit customer documents. This study aims to analyze the implementation of BRIMEN in managing credit customer data at BRI Unit Sumberberas, Banyuwangi, and evaluate its benefits and obstacles in improving archival efficiency. This research employed a qualitative approach through Field Experience Practice (PPL) conducted from December 5 to December 30, 2022. Data collection techniques included direct observation, in-depth interviews with three key informants (Customer Service, Mantri, and BRIMEN admin), and documentation study of 1,596 credit customer records. The implementation of BRIMEN at BRI Unit Sumberberas began in January 2022, successfully digitizing 1,596 credit customer documents throughout the year. The system implementation follows a seven-stage procedure: manual data entry, document scanning, BRIMEN menu input, folder creation, data uploading by CS and Mantri, approval by the unit head, and address input until finishing stage. BRIMEN implementation provides significant benefits including enhanced document security, improved search efficiency, reduced physical storage space, and creation of new employment opportunities. However, challenges persist including network instability, time constraints, double data entry requirements, limited facilities, and inability to correct input errors. This research contributes to the understanding of digital transformation in banking archival systems and offers practical recommendations for optimizing BRIMEN implementation.
