Marketplaces, with their innovations in facilitating transactions, have had a significant impact on how consumers shop and how businesses operate. This research aims to investigate and analyze the phenomenon of buying and selling in the marketplace, including the dynamics, challenges and opportunities that arise. This study will also highlight the role of technology in facilitating the buying and selling process, as well as its impact on consumer behavior, business models, and changes in the global economic order. This research discusses the sharia economic perspective on buying and selling in the marketplace using the literature review method. The data in this research was taken from scientific studies in the form of journals published in the period 2022 to 2023 using content and thematic analysis techniques. The research results show that the concept of buying and selling in Islamic economics in the marketplace consists of halal and haram, aqad legality and contracts in the Marketplace, justice in prices, prohibition of usury, principles of social responsibility, uncertainty, gambling, and justice in policy, clarity of goods, fairness in transactions, freedom and agreement.
